Hi, I’m Aaron. I grew up in Henderson, Nevada, and I received my Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Brigham Young University. I am a Marriage and Family Therapist Associate working toward full licensure. I enjoy working with individuals, couples, families, and adolescents as they navigate challenges in their relationships, mental health, and personal lives.
At the heart of my approach to therapy is a belief that relationships matter. The way we understand ourselves and the way we see and respond to the people around us can have a profound impact on our lives. I believe therapy can be a place where we feel genuinely seen and understood—and where we can learn to see the people we love with greater understanding and compassion. My goal is to create a space where you can be honest about what you're experiencing, make sense of what is happening, and find new ways forward. I see therapy as supporting both meaningful change and deeper healing over time.
I have experience working with relationship difficulties, family conflict, trauma, anxiety, depression, ADHD, pornography, and faith crises or transitions. I strive to make therapy a place where difficult questions can be explored openly and without judgment, especially during periods of personal change and meaning-making.
My approach draws from several therapeutic models, including Internal Family Systems (IFS), Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), Attachment-Based Family Therapy (ABFT), Integrative Behavioral Couple Therapy (IBCT), Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, and Narrative Therapy. I believe therapy works best when it is collaborative and tailored to the unique person, couple, or family in the room.
I also have conversational Spanish skills and experience working with Latino individuals and families. I value the opportunity to work with people from different backgrounds and to learn from the experiences and perspectives they bring.
Outside of therapy, I enjoy swing dancing, arranging music, and getting lost in a good story.
